# Salo Restaurant OS

> Salo Restaurant OS is an offline-first restaurant operating system for independent restaurants, cafes and food halls in the Philippines. It keeps the dining room, kitchen, stockroom, cashier and owner on one live picture of service, and it keeps taking orders on the device when the internet drops.

- Service keeps moving when the internet does not.
- Products: Salo Restaurant, Salo Inventory and Salo Sales.
- Salo is in its pilot phase. We are onboarding two or three design partner restaurants now.
- Pricing: Salo costs PHP 299, PHP 699 or PHP 1,299 a month per branch. Paying quarterly saves 10% and paying yearly saves 20%. Salo takes no commission on your sales.
- Salo prints order summaries, not official receipts. Keep your current BIR-registered invoicing for that.
- Offline: When the internet drops, each Salo device keeps taking orders, printing tickets and accepting cash on its own, saves every action locally, and syncs it once the connection returns.
- Limit: Today, each Salo device works on its own when the internet is down. A waiter's phone and the kitchen screen only share orders through the cloud, so during an outage the kitchen screen will not see new orders until the connection returns.
